A 6-year-old child was killed in a traffic accident in Faryab

Local officials in Faryab reported that six people were killed and injured in a traffic accident in the province.

Shamsullah Mohammadi, the head of Taliban information and culture in the province, said that the incident took place this morning on the Maimana-Khawaja Sabzpoosh highway as a result of a car overturning on the road.

He added that a 6-year-old child was killed and five others were injured in the incident.

According to him, the injured were taken to Faryab Provincial Hospital and their condition is not serious.

Meanwhile, in the past two weeks, 10 people have died and 11 others have been injured as a result of traffic accidents in the country.
