The World Food Organization donated cash to 4,000 families in Paktia

Local officials of the World Food Organization in Paktia report that the The organization has distributed cash assistance to 4,000 families in the province.

Officials of the organization say that the cash donations have been distributed in the center and districts of the province.

According to them, in the near future, the World Food Organization will distribute cash to another 3,000 families in the center and districts of the province.

The people of Afghanistan are currently facing poverty, unemployment and hunger. The onset of winter, last year’s drought and the freezing of Afghanistan assets by the United States have exacerbated the situation.
