Turkey has invested the most in Tajikistan after China

The State Committee for Investment and Management of State Property of Tajikistan announced that Turkey, with a $ 25 million investment in 2021, is the second largest investor in the country.
“In 2021, the volume of foreign direct investment in the country’s economy has more than doubled to $ 340 million,” Saadi Qaderzadeh, the committee’s chairman, told a news conference.
He added that Turkey is the second largest investor in Tajikistan with $ 25 million, after China, with $ 210 million.
According to him, after Turkey, Switzerland has invested $ 21 million, and France has invested $ 19 million in Tajikistan.
The chairman of the State Committee for Investment and Management of State Property of Tajikistan noted that 56.9% of direct investments were in the mining sector, 9.9% in industrial production and 2.1% in the construction sector, adding that currently 78 An investment project with a total of $ 3.7 million is underway in the country.
