A kidnapper was killed by the Taliban in Nangarhar

A Taliban intelligence official in Nangarhar said a kidnapper had been killed in a clash between the Taliban and the kidnappers.

According to the department, clashes broke out between the kidnappers and the group’s forces during a special operation by Taliban forces in Khogyani district late yesterday.

The department added that one of the kidnappers was killed and two others were arrested as a result of the clash.

It is said that weapons and ammunition were also seized from these kidnappers.

However, after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, kidnappings and targeted killings in the country are still security challenges.
