A surgeon in Kabul has been released from captivity

A neurosurgeon who was abducted by kidnappers in Kabul two weeks ago has been released by Taliban intelligence.

The Bakhtar state news agency reported that Dr. Ahmad Fawad Birzad, who had recently been abducted in Kabul, had been released.
