Medical aid packages sent from Turkey were delivered to Afghanistan

Under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the medical aid packages of the “Goodness Train”, which carries the aid materials provided with the support of some non-governmental organizations (NGO) in Turkey, were delivered to the Ministry of Health of the Taliban interim government.

Emre Manav, Undersecretary of Embassy of Turkey in Kabul, Deputy Minister of Health of the Taliban interim government Habibullah Ahunzade and representatives of some Turkish institutions in Kabul attended the ceremony held in the capital Kabul for the delivery of materials.

The Goodness Train, which departed from Ankara on January 27 and carrying 750 tons of humanitarian aid, entered Afghanistan on February 7 through the Turgundi Border Gate on the Turkmenistan border.
