Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: Moscow has no plans to recognize the Taliban government

Russia’s foreign ministry says Moscow has no plans to recognize the Taliban government.
According to Sputnik, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told a Middle East conference at the International Woldai’ Dialogue Club that Moscow would not recognize the group until the Taliban government in Afghanistan became inclusive.
“We will not talk about recognizing the Taliban until we are convinced that the process is widespread and that coalition government institutions are being formed with the participation of representatives of all political forces in Afghanistan,” he said.
It has been about seven months since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, but so far the government of this group, which they call temporary, has not been recognized by any country.
