Biden: Russia’s goal was to disintegrate NATO, but it did not succeed

The US president has said that Russia is trying to disintegrate NATO but has not succeeded.

The remarks were made by US President Joe Biden in a podcast interview.

Regarding the tensions between Russia and Ukraine, he said: “We have two options, either we have to start World War III and go to war with Russia, or we have to make sure that a country that violates international law will pay for its actions.

“If Russia does not stop its attacks on Ukraine, political and economic sanctions will be imposed on Moscow and no one is waiting for the immediate conclusion of these sanctions,” he said, adding that Russia would pay a long-term and short-term price for its actions.

It has been 4 days since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and now the war has spread to the centers of big cities in Ukraine.
