The first shipment of Indian auxiliary wheat arrived in Afghanistan

The Nangarhar governor’s office announced the arrival of the first shipment of Indian auxiliary wheat to Afghanistan through the Torkham highway.

A statement from the Nangarhar governor’s office said the shipment, which included 2,500 tonnes of wheat, had reached Afghanistan via Pakistan and the Torkham Pass.

The Deputy Minister of Disaster Management welcomed the consignment at a ceremony in Torkham town and said that the consignment, which is 2,500 tons, arrived in Afghanistan at 42 tracks.

It should be noted that the total aid wheat that India has promised to Afghanistan is 50,000 tons.
