The bodies of two people were found in Farah province

Taliban security officials in Farah say they have found the bodies of two people in the province.

Aref Adil, deputy spokesman for the Taliban police command in Farah, said the bodies of a child and an elderly man had been found in various parts of the province.

He added that the body of an old man was found in Bala Block district and the body of a child was found in Ghulaman area of ​​Dolatabad district, the capital of the province.

According to a spokesman for the Farah Police Command, the two may have died as a result of the recent floods.

The bodies of the two are said to have been taken to Farah Provincial Hospital.
