Two children died in Kunduz as a result of a mortar shell explosion

Sources in Kunduz say a mortar shell exploded in the province, killing two children.

The sources said that the incident took place yesterday evening in Pol Mohibullah area of ​​Khanabad district when children were playing with an unexploded mortar shell.

Two children were killed and another was injured in the blast, they said.

Civilians have been killed or wounded in the past also as a result of explosive remnants of war in most provinces.

Recently in Herat province in a similar incident 5 children from one family died.
