The Nigerian government donated $ 1 million to Afghanistan

Officials from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have announced that the Nigerian government will provide $ 1 million in aid to Afghanistan.

Hussein Ibrahim Taha, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, said in a statement that the Nigerian government had donated $ 1 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund.

He emphasized that the aid was timely, adding that it would be useful for the organization to address the plight of millions of Afghan citizens.

However, the statement of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, while calling on all member states to help Afghanistan, said that the organization is committed to supporting the people of Afghanistan and in the full implementation of its special resolution on this country, which in the last The extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in December last year in Islamabad, Pakistan, and no effort will spared.
