A man was arrested in Ghor on charges of raping a child

Taliban officials in Ghor say a man has been arrested on charges of raping an eight-year-old boy in the province.

Abdul Rahman Badri, spokesman for the Taliban police headquarters in Ghor, said the man had been arrested in the village of Quchi in the Tiwara district.

According to him, the detainee has been handed over to the criminal department of the police headquarters for further investigation.

Meanwhile, several people have already been arrested in the province on charges of moral corruption.
