Mottaqi headed a Taliban delegation to Turkey

The head of the Taliban Foreign Ministry, headed by a delegation from the group, has left for Turkey to attend a meeting of the Antalya Diplomatic Assembly.
A statement from the Taliban Foreign Ministry said the group’s visit to Turkey was at the official invitation of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuş Oghlu.
The Taliban Foreign Ministry added that the group’s acting Foreign Minister is scheduled to attend the Antalya Diplomatic Assembly during his visit to Turkey and address the situation in Afghanistan.
According to a Taliban foreign ministry statement, the group’s foreign minister is also scheduled to hold talks with delegations from various countries who attended the Antalya summit during his visit to Turkey.
The meeting of the Antalya Diplomatic Assembly is scheduled to open on Thursday with a speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and will continue for two days.
