Ukrainian Foreign Minister: Nearly 1500 civilians killed in Mariupol

Ukraine’s foreign minister says nearly 1,500 civilians have been killed in the past 12 days as a result of Russian military strikes on the city of Mayopel.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kolba tweeted that 1582 civilians had been killed in the past 12 days as a result of Russian military strikes on the city of Mayopel.

“The city of Mariupol is under siege by the Russian army,” he said. 1582 people were killed in 12 days. “The bodies of the victims are buried in mass graves.”

According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, the Russian army has even prevented civilians from accessing humanitarian aid in the city.

Russia’s military operation against Ukraine began on February 24, and now the Russian army has reportedly reached near the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
