Chinese Foreign Minister: We are strengthening our coordination with Islamabad on Afghanistan issues

The Chinese Foreign Minister has said that his country is strengthening its coordination with Islamabad on Afghanistan.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang yi made the remarks during a visit to Pakistan yesterday at a news conference with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi, saying the two countries should strengthen their coordination on regional and international issues such as the Afghanistan crisis and the Ukraine war.
Stating that the two countries are committed to strengthening strategic coordination and practical cooperation, he added that China and Pakistan should practice genuine multilateralism and oppose bullying and unilateral sanctions.
During his visit to Pakistan, the Chinese Foreign Minister is scheduled to attend the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.
