China supports the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan

China’s foreign minister says his country supports a healthy and inclusive government in Afghanistan.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi made the remarks at the opening meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Summit in Islamabad, saying that China respects the choice of the Afghan people and will open a new chapter in the peaceful reconstruction of Afghanistan.

The Chinese Foreign Minister described the relations between China and the Islamic world as a win-win interaction and said that for the first time a Chinese Foreign Minister was speaking at a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and that he was happy about it.

He described the one-lane and one-road initiative as a bridge between China and Islamic countries, saying that China has so far signed a cooperation document with 54 Islamic countries and invested $ 400 billion in 600 projects.
