Gunmen kill a man in Helmand

Local Taliban officials in Helmand say one person was killed by unidentified gunmen in the province.

Officials from the Helmand Department of Information and Culture named Rahmatullah as the dead man and said that he was killed last night by gunmen in his house in Baghranian area of ​​Nawa district of the province.

According to them, this person was the main resident of Lashkar Gah.

However, the motive for the killing is still unknown, and Taliban officials have said an investigation has been launched.

It is noteworthy that there has been a significant increase in targeted killings, criminal offenses and armed robberies in most parts of the country recently.
