Explosion in Mazar-e-Sharif

Local sources in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, reported an explosion in the province’s agricultural area.
According to these sources, the explosion took place this afternoon in the Mazar-e-Sharif agricultural area.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Asif Vaziri, head of the media office of the Taliban police headquarters in Balkh, confirmed the news, saying that the incident was caused by a gas balloon exploding in a taxi, resulting in the death of the taxi driver.
However, witnesses to the incident said that several people were injured as a result of the explosion.
This is the first explosion after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, which took place in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.
