The Taliban killed a former government commander in Takhar

Local sources in Takhar report that a former government commander was killed by Taliban forces in the province.

According to them, the incident took place on Sunday night in Taloqan, the capital of Takhar province.

Sources named the commander Malik as the bodyguard of Wafiullah Rahmani, the former head of the Takhar Provincial Council.

Meanwhile, two people were attacked by unknown gunmen in Farah province yesterday.

As a result of this attack, one of them was killed and another was wounded

It is noteworthy that targeted killings, armed robberies and criminal offenses have increased in most parts of the country recently.
