Explosion in Kabul’s Sarai Shahzada
According to sources, an explosion took place a moment ago in Sarai Shahzada, which is the largest currency market in Kabul.
The source said the blast also caused casualties.
However, the Taliban’s interior ministry said the blast was caused by a hand grenade thrown by a thief inside the currency exchange market, injuring 10 people.
The ministry added that the man intended to steal money from money changers, and further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Meanwhile, two people were superficially injured as a result of an explosion on the first road of Kabul’s Karte Mamorin – Silo yesterday.
