Two Taliban insurgents were killed in a traffic accident in Paktia

Local officials in Paktia say two Taliban insurgents have been killed in a traffic accident in Gardez, the provincial capital.

Taliban governor Ahmad Ali Jan told Paktia that the incident took place yesterday as a result of a Ranger colliding with a motorcycle.

Two Taliban militants were reportedly killed in the incident.

Traffic accidents have claimed the lives of Taliban and civilians in the past.

The cause of most of these traffic accidents is the carelessness of drivers.
