Taliban: Teachers and students should refrain from wearing ties

In a letter, the Taliban Ministry of Education stressed its refusal to use ties on students ‘and professors’ uniforms.

The letter, issued by the Taliban Ministry of Education, emphasizes the observance of the hijab in the uniform of the girls and the refusal to use ties in the uniforms of male students and professors.

But a ministry spokesman confirmed the letter in an interview with TOLOnews, saying it was a recommendation.

The Taliban, meanwhile, have imposed severe restrictions on the education of male and female students since taking control of Afghanistan.

Girls ‘and boys’ classes in universities were separated by the group, and in some provinces the group has also banned the use of smartphones by professors and students inside the university.
