Armed robbers kill a businessman in Kandahar

Local sources in Kandahar say one man was killed and another wounded in a shooting by two robbers in the province.

According to these sources, the incident took place this afternoon (Wednesday) in the third district of Kandahar city, and armed robbers also took two million rupees from the two businessmen.

Meanwhile, Nematullah Shirzad, chief physician of Mirwais District Hospital in Kandahar, said that one injured person had been taken to the hospital.

Armed robberies and criminal offenses have recently increased in Afghanistan’s provinces.
