The floods in Panjshir have damaged agricultural lands

Local sources in Panjshir say that agricultural lands have been destroyed as a result of floods in the province.

According to Hasht Sobh, Ahmad Zia Yazdani, head of the Panjshir Disaster Management Authority, said floods in the province had destroyed public roads, roads in the Shuttle district and agricultural lands in the district.

He added that investigations are underway to determine the extent of the damage caused to the people by these floods.

A day earlier, the Afghan Meteorological Agency warned of heavy rains and flooding in Panjshir and some other provinces.
