A young man ended his life in Faryab

Local sources in Faryab say a young man hanged himself in Maimana, the capital of Faryab province.

According to Salam Watandar, Shamsullah Mohammadi, the head of Taliban intelligence and culture for Faryab, confirmed the incident and said that the young man was addicted to drugs.

Meanwhile, some sources in Faryab have mentioned this young man Abdul Haq and say that he was a resident of the Tatarkhana of Maimana city and hanged himself yesterday.

Suicide rates have risen sharply in Afghanistan recently.
