Occurrence of a traffic accident on the Herat-Islam-Qala highway

Security officials in Herat say at least 14 people have been injured in a traffic accident on the Herat-Islam Qala highway.

Confirming the incident, Mohammad Shah Rasouli, spokesman for the Herat Police Command, said that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between two vehicles on the Herat-Islam-Qala highway, resulting in injuries to 14 people, including passengers returning from Iran.

According to him, the injured were taken to the hospital and are being treated.

The cause of this traffic accident was the carelessness of the drivers.
