A Taliban member was assassinated by gunmen in Ghazni

Local sources in Ghazni say a senior member of the Taliban intelligence service has been assassinated in the province.

Sources in the province say that a member of the Taliban intelligence service was killed by unknown gunmen in the Roza area of ​​Ghazni city, the capital of the province, yesterday.

According to them, this Taliban member was in charge of an intelligence unit in Ghazni province.

However, so far no one or group has claimed responsibility for the assassination.

Earlier, two Taliban insurgents were killed in a bomb blast in the province.
