Taliban members clash over gold mine in Badakhshan

According to Amaj News, local sources in Badakhshan say that Taliban members in the province have clashed over a gold mine and livestock zakat.

Sources say that the Kandahar Taliban, which supports the Baharak Taliban, want to arrest the district governor of Arghanjkhah.

Earlier, a Taliban force was killed in a clash between two Taliban commanders in the Khawan district of the province.

The cause of the clash was said to be the control of the Khawan district commissariat, and as a result, in addition to a Taliban force, two students were also killed.
