A child in Khost was rescued from the clutches of kidnappers

Taliban security officials in Khost say a child has been rescued from kidnappers in the province.

According to Salam Watandar, Mostaghfar Garbaz, spokesman for the Taliban police command in Khost, named the child Nasir Ahmad and said that the child had been rescued from the kidnappers yesterday as a result of a special operation by the group’s forces in Dohmandeh district of Khost province.

He added that the 10-year-old child was abducted by unknown individuals two days ago in Mandozi district of the province.

According to a spokesman for the Khost Police Command, no one has been arrested in connection with the incident, but efforts are underway to arrest the perpetrators.
