The Taliban cabinet approved the plan of the National Hajj Committee

Taliban officials have announced the approval of the National Hajj Committee’s plan to regulate, improve and advance matters related to it.

Enamullah Samangani, the Taliban’s deputy spokesman, tweeted that the cabinet had approved a plan by the Ministry of Transport and Aviation to establish a National Hajj Committee to regulate, improve and advance Hajj-related matters.

He added: The committee is chaired by Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister, and the Ministries of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments, Transport and Aviation, Justice, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Public Health and Interior, General Directorate of Intelligence and the Chamber of Commerce are its members.

Samangani also said that the committee will be set up in the provinces under the chairmanship of the deputy governor and with the participation of representatives with the authority of the departments of Hajj and Endowments, Airfield, Police Headquarters, Mostofit, Intelligence and Public Health.
