A woman was killed in a traffic accident in Helmand

Local officials in Helmand say one person was killed and six others were injured in a traffic accident in the province.
According to Salam Watandar, Hafiz Rashid Helmandi, the head of Taliban information and culture for Helmand, said that the incident took place yesterday in Luchak area of Babaji district of the province.
According to him, the incident was caused by a motorcycle colliding with a Corolla, and as a result, a woman died.
He added that six other people were injured in the incident, including four women.
The injured were reportedly taken to Lashkar Gah and Kandahar provincial hospitals.
