The Taliban arrested a man on charges of smuggling money abroad

The Taliban’s interior ministry announced the arrest of a man accused of smuggling money and gold abroad.

The ministry said in a statement that the man had been detained by border police in the port of Islam Qala in Herat province.

According to the statement, this person intended to smuggle 50,000 US dollars and two kilograms of gold abroad.

Taliban forces have already detained several people in the province on charges of smuggling money abroad.
