Explosion at Kabul’s bot Khak crossroads

Sources in Kabul say that an explosion took place in the twelfth security district of the city.

A number of civilians were killed and wounded in the blast, they said.

Meanwhile, Khaled Zadran, a spokesman for the Kabul Police Command, confirmed the blast, saying it was caused by a mine planted in a car.

He also confirmed that a number of civilians had been killed and wounded in the blasts, but did not provide exact details.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
