Explosion in Khair Khana area of ​​Kabul

Taliban officials reported an explosion at the Khajeh Baghra Bridge in Kabul’s Khairkhaneh district.

Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran tweeted that the blast took place inside a high-speed vehicle, killing two people.

He added that Taliban forces had reached the area and that investigations had begun.

However, the exact details of this event are not yet known.

Meanwhile, the Sikh shrine in the Bagh area above Kabul witnessed an attack by armed assailants yesterday, which was accompanied by several explosions.

A Taliban force and a Sikh were killed in the incident, the Taliban Interior Ministry said.

The ISIS group has claimed responsibility for the attack on the shrine.
