The Meteorological Department warned of strong winds and rain in 25 provinces

The Meteorological Department of Afghanistan has warned of the possibility of heavy rains and strong winds in 25 provinces of the country.

The Meteorological Department has announced the possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms, flash floods and torrential winds in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Ghor, Bamyan, Daikundi, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Zabul, Kandahar, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Panjshir, Parwan, Kapisa, Logar, Kabul, Gardez, Paktia, Khost and Paktika provinces including Salangs.

The department predicts the amount of rainfall in different places between (20 to 70) millimeters.

The department also said that there is a possibility of relatively strong winds with dust in the northern, northwestern, western, southwestern, central and southern provinces of the country.
