The former government’s finance minister has returned to the country

The Afghanistan Personalities Commission has announced that the former government finance minister has returned to the country.

The commission tweeted that Hedayat Amin Arsalan, the former government’s finance minister, had returned to the country as a result of the efforts of commission officials.

After the Taliban took control, several senior officials in the former Afghan government, including Mohammad Siddiq Chakri, Minister of Hajj and Endowments, Farooq Wardak, former Minister of Education, Amanullah Ghalib, head of the electricity company, General Dawlat Waziri, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, and Hassan Mubarak Azizi, Minister of Transport have returned to Afghanistan.
