World Health Organization: Most of the earthquake victims in Afghanistan are women and children

The World Health Organization says most of the quake victims in Afghanistan are women and children.
The World Health Organization in Afghanistan tweeted that doctors at Paktia Hospital were caring for the quake victims, most of whom were women and children.
The organization’s mission in Afghanistan also announced that their medical teams are providing services to the injured in Paktia and Paktika.
The quake killed at least 1,000 people and injured about 1,500 in Paktika, Khost and Nangarhar provinces yesterday morning.
