Gunmen kill a woman in Badghis

Taliban officials in Badghis say a woman has been mysteriously killed in the province.

The press office of the Taliban police headquarters in Badghis said in a newsletter that the woman had been killed by unknown gunmen last night.

The incident took place in the fourth security district of Qala-e-Naw city, the capital of Badghis province, according to the newsletter.

According to the newsletter, a person has been arrested in connection with this incident and an investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, mysterious killings have recently increased in most provinces of the country.
