A traffic accident in Herat left 11 dead and injured

Taliban officials in Herat report that 11 people were killed and wounded as a result of a traffic accident in this province.

Mahmoud Shah Rasouli, the spokesperson of Herat Police, says that this incident occurred yesterday as a result of a collision between a Sarache type car and a Tunis type car.

He added that this incident took place in Tahir region of Herat province.

According to Herat police spokesperson, as a result of this traffic incident, one person died and 10 others were injured.

This is while recently traffic incidents have increased in most of the country’s provinces and the cause of these incidents is the carelessness of drivers and damaged roads.
