Taliban: The recent earthquake has destroyed more than 17 thousand houses

The Taliban Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters has announced that more than 17 thousand houses have been destroyed as a result of the recent earthquake in the country.
Sharafuddin Muslim, deputy minister of this ministry, says that 17,816 houses were destroyed as a result of the recent earthquake in Paktika and Khost provinces, and a large number of livestock were also lost.
He announced the exact number of victims of this event: 1006 dead and 3006 injured.
Deputy Minister of Combating Natural Disasters of the Taliban also added that agricultural lands and irrigation and drinking water systems were also damaged in 4 districts of Paktika and Khost provinces.
He also announced the activation of the survey, distribution and hearing complaints committees to reach the victims on time by the Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters.
It should be mentioned that the recent earthquake was one of the biggest earthquakes in Afghanistan, which caused a lot of damage.
