Taliban and Iranian officials held a meeting after the border clash in Nimroz

Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan says that after the conflict between Taliban forces and Iran’s border forces, the representatives of the two countries held a meeting.

Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan, said that after the previous day’s clashes between Taliban forces and Iran’s border forces, the officials of the two countries held a meeting.

He said that the conflict stopped after the Taliban Ministry of Defense officials ordered the group’s border forces to stop the conflict.

Yesterday’s clash between Taliban forces and Iranian border forces took place in the border area of ​​Nimroz province with Iran, as a result of which two Taliban forces were killed.
