UNAMA condemned yesterday’s explosion in Kabul
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has condemned yesterday’s explosion in Kabul.
In this announcement, UNAMA said that we condemn yesterday’s attack in a Shia-majority area of Kabul, which killed and injured dozens of people.
UNAMA added that the ruling authorities should prevent such attacks from happening and start a full and transparent investigation.
According to Taliban officials, yesterday’s explosion that occurred in the 6th district of Kabul was caused by explosives embedded in a wheelbarrow.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote in a tweet that 8 people died and 18 others were injured as a result of this explosion.
The ISIS group has taken responsibility for this explosion.
