Richard Bennett demanded the security of Ashura in Afghanistan

The UN special rapporteur on human rights in Afghanistan says that the security of Ashura in Afghanistan should be ensured.

Richard Bennett, the UN special rapporteur on human rights affairs in Afghanistan, in a tweet called for the security of the Ashura ceremony and wrote that the perpetrators of the recent attacks against mourners in Kabul should be brought to justice.

On the other hand, the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) also wrote in a tweet that the United Nations calls for more security for minorities so that the Ashura ceremony can be held without attacks and explosions.

UNAMA added that more than 120 people have been killed as a result of the recent explosions in Kabul.

The ISIS terrorist group has taken responsibility for these explosions.
