The Taliban created a committee to obtain loans for electricity

Officials of the Afghanistan Electricity Company (Brishna) say that a committee has been established under the guidance of the Economic Commission of the Taliban’s Prime Minister’s Office. in order to obtain electricity loans from the powerful.

Hekmatullah Meywandi, the spokesman of the Afghanistan Electricity Company, announced in a news conference at the government information and media center about the implementation of the mechanism of obtaining electricity loans from former politicians and powerful people, companies and industrial and commercial centers.

The spokesman of this department added that the mechanism of obtaining electricity loan was approved by the Economic Commission of the Taliban Ministry.

According to him, as a result of the continuous efforts of this committee, in the last two weeks, 329 debtors have been identified in Kabul, and 33 of them have paid the amount of 6,214,804 Afghanis so far.
