Hekmatyar: The attackers on the mosque of Islamic party were tajik
Golbedin Hekmatyar, the leader of Islamic party says that the two attackers on the mosque were Tajik nationals and the ISIS flag was also obtained from them.
In a statement, Mr. Hekmatyar said that the two attackers who attacked the party’s mosque were Tajik and carried the ISIS flag with them.
He said: These two attackers came in the form of worshipers and placed explosives on the license plate of their car and parked the car in the parking lot. When they got out of the car, they ran towards the mosque and started shooting and immediately blew up the car.
The leader of Hizb-e-Islami added: “During the preliminary investigations, it was found that the terrorists who arrived are citizens of Tajikistan and not Afghans, terrorist groups failed to prepare the Afghans for this attack, and the black flag of the ISIS group was also discovered from the attackers.”
It should be mentioned that some attackers attacked the Hizb-e-Islami mosque in Kabul last Friday, while the leader of this party was also present inside the mosque.
It is said that as a result of this attack, one of the bodyguards of Golbedin Hekmatyar, the leader of Hizb-e-Islami, was killed.
