Local sources in Kabul say that as a result of an explosion near the Kabul airport, civilians have been killed and injured.

According to these sources, a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Kabul airport.

Abdul Nafee Takour, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Taliban also confirmed this incident and said that the explosion took place in the outer part of Kabul Airport.

He confirmed that a number of people were killed and wounded as a result of this explosion, but he did not provide the exact statistics.

At the same time, Al Jazeera news agency, citing Taliban security officials, reported that as a result of this incident, 10 people were killed and 8 others were injured.
