The cold weather in Badghis killed three people
Local officials in Badghis say that three people have died as a result of the cold weather in this province.
Bakhtar State News Agency has reported, quoting Maulvi Khalid, the governor of Balamurghab district of Badghis province, that the three died in the district as a result of the cold weather.
The district governor of Balamorghab said that the three people who died due to the cold weather include a woman and two children.
This local official in Badghis also said that as a result of the cold weather in this province, 3,370 animals were also lost.
It should be mentioned that 5 people also died yesterday as a result of extreme cold weather in Qads district of this province.
Sources in Qads district of Badghis province say that four children and a shepherd died due to the cold weather in the areas of “Khairkhane Alia, Jholaq, Sheikha and Zad Saleh” in Qads district of Badghis province.
It should be mentioned that the weather has increased in most regions of Afghanistan as a result of heavy snowfall and the communication routes of most provinces have been blocked.
