Taliban prevented the smuggling of 1000 tons of lithium ore
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban has announced that the intelligence department of this group has prevented the smuggling of 1000 tons of lithium ore abroad.
The ministry wrote in a tweet that in coordination with the Intelligence Directorate, the smuggling of about a thousand tons of lithium (lithium) slabs, which were gradually being smuggled from Nuristan and Kunar provinces to Nangarhar province and transferred abroad, has been prevented.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum added that 300 tons of the mentioned stones have been seized from smugglers and officially handed over to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, and about 700 tons of them have been seized in Kunar Province.
According to this ministry, a number of domestic and foreign smugglers have been arrested by the intelligence and security agencies in connection with the mentioned case.
