WHO called women’s activity in the health sector vital in Afghanistan

The World Health Organization says that the activity of women in health sectors is vital for providing health services.

This organization has said in a statement that the activity of women in the health sectors is very vital and without their presence, the process of providing health services will face problems.

The World Health Organization statement stated that female health workers are vital to the delivery of health services and in Afghanistan, they have shown “heroic dedication to serving the health needs of Afghans”.

This organization added that Afghanistan is experiencing one of the hardest winters and before the start of the winter season, as part of the winter program, it has sent medical equipment to health centers in the provinces of this country.

According to the World Health Organization, its teams are visiting hospitals in Bamyan and other provinces to ensure that winter health equipment is available to meet the needs of patients during the winter.
